For this collaboration it was a challenge to incorporate an illustration of Miffy that would honor Dick Bruna's work, without making it childish. With a moonphase I incorporated Miffy and made it kind of functional and playful at the same time. During the month she slowly goes away and comes back again. To highlight the luxurious feel, Miffy was etched out of brass, polished and rodium plated. It is filled with blue paint and after that it is hand filled with Superluminova in the correct Dick Bruna colors. It takes one hour to fill all the stars and Miffy with super luminova under a microscope. Also the entire dial is painted in the correct Dick Bruna Orange color. The movement is a converted Sellita SW288-1. In order to fit the movement and moonphase, the Amalfi was almost completely converted.

Please mind, these watches are made to order, delivery time is around three months. The seconds hand will be black in stead of the red of the picture. Pictures were also taken with a solid lugs case, the case will be equipped with spring bar lugs.
